Hi guys.

If I try and conduct a search on any drive in "Windows Explorer" by
right-clicking on a drive and then selecting the "Search" option from the
menu, I get an error box which says "

"There was a problem sending the command to the program"

Any ideas guys?

Well according to some guy on the ZA message board, "Windows Explorer" tries
to access the IP "0.0.0.0". If you have previously denied access to
"Windows Explorer", this error then occurs.

The IP ("0.0.0.0") therefore needs to be added to the "Trusted Zone" of ZA.

To do this:
Open ZA
Select, "Firewall" > "Zones" tab
Right-click > Add > IP Address
Select "Trusted" for the "Zone"
Enter "0.0.0.0" for the "IP Address"
Enter something suitable for the "Description"

When trying to search a drive/folder by utilising the right-click context
menu for the first time, ZA will then ask if you want "Windows Explorer" to
access to "FindFolder["C:\"]". You can then place a tick in the "Remember
this answer" box and click the "Yes" button.

If "Windows Explorer" has previously been denied access, then it's entry in
the "Programs" section of ZA will need to be configured to allow access to
"Access - Trusted".

You can then also configure ZA to DENY access to the following if you feel
you need to:
+ "Access - Internet"
+ "Server - Trusted"
+ "Server - Internet"

The guy from the ZA board also went on to say that if you are still worried
about potential security issues, then you can add the following entry to
your "hosts" file:

127.0.0.1 0.0.0.0

This then reroutes the 0.0.0.0 IP adress to your own System.

The "hosts" file will normall be located in "C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc"
(assuming C is your system drive).

Well, I have tried the above and it seems to work OK

So many thanks Ramesh for pointing me to the ZA message board.
