Right Click & Recently Used Files

1) Does anyone know how I can customise 'right click'
menu in excel?

2) Does anyone know if it is possible to fix particular
files in the "recently used files" so they don't
disappear regardless of how many other files I may open.
(please, no answers stating that I should increase the
number of recently used files from the "Tools - Option"
menu)

I have used the attached add-in to create the Excel equivalent of the MS
Word work menu.

Basically it allows you to create a static list of favourite files
under a new menu item.

From memory it has probelms if the fiels are laready open by other
users, otehr than that it works fine.

Hi Kieran,
I'm rather interested in the addin you write about, but the link seems to
take me nowhere. Can you direct me another way to down load it?

There is a Microsoft add-in called Places, which allows you to customise
your File/Open dialog box. You can set new folders as defaults and add your
own favourite folders to the list. Have a look here:

It might depend on which version of Office you have as to whether it will
work - but it works very well on Office 2K
