I've read just about every post i could find in here on right-click
problems. None seem to apply here.

I'm running WinXPProsp2, with all the updates. My main account is working
fine. When I switch to my secondary or tertiary account, the right click
menu won't come up when clicking on an icon. If I right-click on the desktop
the menu will pop up, but if I right-click on any shortcuts I get the
"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close" error. Then
it asks if I wish to send an error report.

Again, it works fine in my main account, not in my others. The other
accounts are virgin accounts, never used. Everything is set to defaults.

update 821557 does not apply here. This is a new installation of
WinXPProsp2.

Please help.

Thanks,
Rich

You are the MAN!!!

I used that ShellExView program and isolated it to a program that had added
a menu item into the right-click menu. Uninstalling that program and
reinstalling it fixed the problem.

Thanks much,
Rich
