Right Click Problem

I am using XP professional and whenever I try to use the
explorer/my comp, and right click the mouse or choose
copy/cut/paste etc from the menu the hourglass appears
and the process stops responding. This is getting very
annoying because I cant move files around.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Kelly's Korner has a number of tweaks for right-clicking. There's one
to restore the right-click (line 175), others for the context menu.
Reading your description, though, your situation sounds as though it
has more to do with the cut and paste function. Are you able to drag
and drop files?
