Does anyone have any ideas to help me. If I right click and go to save image
as the dialog box opens. OK so far so good. But when I change the name of
the image a dropdown box used to appear and show me all the names in that
folder starting with the same letter as the first one I typed. Does anyone
know what got turned off that needs to be turned back on?

Paul,

Click Start, Run and type INETCPL.CPL
Click the Advanced tab.
Under Browsing, click the Use inline AutoComplete check box
Click OK.

That box was already checked.....not really sure if it would actually fall
under auto complete though.

Try this:

Open Regedit.exe and navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoComplete

Set "AlwaysDropUp" to "yes"

And, set "AutoComplete In File Dialog" (only if exists) to 1.

Close Regedit.exe
