Hi,

While in Windows Picture & Fax Viewer, if I right click on a .crt file
and Browse for PS CS4 .exe file, Picassa opens it!

Before, I used to have CS4 and LR as options and now I don't.

How can I fix this??

I have Windows XP with all the latest updates.

Thank you!

Gloria

In Windows Explorer right click on file and select Open with. Select
Choose Programme, make your choice from the list and check box before
"Always use the selected program to open this kind of file".

Thank to all that replied!

That's exactly what I'm doing, BUT Picassa opens instead of Photoshop.
Even clicking on "Always use the selected.....".

It's not a Security Certificate file extension, it's a Canon Raw file.
I don't want Picassa, I want Photoshop, but doing all that I wrote and
has been advised still brings up Picassa.

Thank you!

Why would you like to open a Security Certificate file extension with
Picassa?

You can right click the Filename.crt and slect from the lis open with then
select Picassa and check mark this check box:
[ ü] Always use the seelcted program to open this kind of file.

If the Picassa not listed in the list of programs click on the Browse button
and lcoate it. It will usually be in the directory of:
C:\ProgramFiles\Picassa...
Click [OK] and you got the Picassa as your default Program to open this kind
of extesion file.

Uninstall Picassa through Add / Remove Programs. Then set the file
association to what you want. Test. Reinstall Picassa and see if you
have retained the Photoshop file association.
