On my machine (HP XW8000 with 2 processors), after installing XP SP2,
a right
click on any file in any directory displayed by Windows Explorer [not
internet explorer] will cause that window to immediately become NOT
RESPONDING. To continue I must end the application with Task Manager.

How can I fix this? I don't understand "delete context file".
Some people have reported the following things can cause this:

1. Having DivX installed
2. Having Spy Sweeper installed
3. Having some other third-party software installed that puts an entry
for itself in the right-click context menu.

Here is a link to information about that:

and some more links for good measure:

Thanks Malke,

I had restored to pre-SP2 state. After reading your message and
following
links, I uninstalled DivX and re-uinstalled SP2. Right-Click works
fine now!

I also read that the latest version of DivX works with SP2, but I
haven't tried it!
Glad you got it sorted, Kim. Thanks for letting me know.
