right-click "hang-ups"

I use Vista business, which was pre-installed in my Lenovo laptop, recently
acquired.

When I try to transfer a file from "documents" to my thumb drive, using the
right click function, I get nowwhere. I don't even see the standard choice
of "send to", etc. All I see is the "swirl," and it's nonestop--hanging.

Also, if I try to right click a jpeg, and select "open up with", the same
thing happens. All I get is an immediate hang.

Hi,

Did anything you installed on the system add to the context menu? It may not
be the function you are trying to do, but rather a context menu addition
that is causing the hang to occur. Things like unzipping utilities and
antivirus scanners often add these, and if there is damage to the registry
entries that support them they can cause these functions to hang. You might
