If I do a right-click on a folder (as when checking Properties) and if I
allow the cursor to stay on the window, when it gets to the "Send-To"
entry - the cursor hangs for about 5 or 10 seconds. Annoying... If I don't
keep the cursor within the menu, I can select entries below the "Send-To"
entry and no delay.

Anyone know of why or have a cure?

Most likely it's just too many shortcuts in the send to folder. The more in
there the longer it takes to display it. Just delete some. Keep only what
you need or think you'll use some day.
The folder is located here and it's a hidden folder so you have to set
hidden folders to show.

Phil,

I deleted all the shortcuts I didn't want and the delay is now down to 3
seconds. There are 9 shortcuts in the Send-To folder. Looks like your
answer is the solution but still seems like a long delay on this item.

Thanks,

Bob S.

Ya, even with a few it does pause there much longer than I'd like. I just
try to make sure to go by the send to menu quickly, so that the menu doesn't
pop out.

On my system there are 10 items in send to. I can move the pointer
right past it with no delay. If I hover over it to select to takes any
where from 1 sec to about 3 secs. Longer the first time, faster for
subsequent.
