Right Click Create new Database

Windows provides a way to create a new database by right-clicking and
selecting new| Microsoft Office Access Application.

However whenever I create a file this way the format is access 2000. How do
I change the default from access 2000 to access 2003.

Note: I already have the default set to 2003, so if I open Access and create
a blank database it will make a 03 version.

The right click options are controled in the folder options, file types from
your My computer icon.

Find the MDB in the list and click the advanced tab.

Under actions you should see New and Open. If you click New you point it to
the new 2003 version vs the 2000 version.
