RFID Application Development

Hello All

I am looking to develop a RFID application for Wal-Mart Compliance. Is
there any RFID SDK available? I have looked around and have come across
RFID middlewares, which are very expensive for my needs.

Hi Rich,

I've developed VB.NET apps for several RFID readers. My experience has
been that the reader vendor generally has an SDK available for their
specific readers. You need to ask your reader vendor if they have a
..NET SDK available.

Symbol offers RFID Pocket PC/ WinCe devices. I just downloaded their
SDK a few days back and it has RFID .net assemblies as part of it.
Developer registration is free and so is their SDK, give it a try and
do share you experiments with us

If you happen to be using Intermec RFID equipment, you can download the RFID
Resource Kit which includes .NET components. Please go to the Intermec
Developers Library site at http://www.intermec.com/idl/ and look for the
Resource Kits section.
