rewrite discs

This may be a simple question to many but I'm stumped. I
bought rewritable discs but cannot find out how to
rewrite over them. The place where I bought them says
that the DVD program I'm using to write them should have
an erase button but I don't see one, and if I just try to
rewrite to it it says it's full. Help!

Look in the Help section of your DVD burning software.

you have to format the disc first. befor you ncan rewrite on it what are you using? it should have a menu on it and then look for format
