Hi everyone,

I've had a problem with one particular meeting. It's a recurring meeting.
I've sent a change to ONE occurrence and am receiving responses back no
problem. My problem is that that one occurrence keeps moving back to the
original time and not the new time, in my calendar only.

I tried redoing the one occurrence and sent it out to everyone to respond
again but once again, my meeting moves back to the original meeting time.

Help?!?!?!?

I am seeing this same behavior. In fact, it is happening to multiple
people. In our case, this happens when a change is made to one
occurrence of a recurring meeting (the date or time is changed). At
some point it will revert back to the original date/time on the
organizer's calendar. If one occurrence is deleted, the meeting will
"reappear" on the organizer's calendar. This doesn't happen every
time one occurrence is changed or deleted, and I have not been able to
reproduce the problem but it has been reported by several users. The
common thread so far is that the people who have reported this are
delegates. They manage the meetings of someone else's calendar. The
item reverts back to the original time on the person's calendar they
manage (or reappears in the case where one occurrence is cancelled).
I have been actively troubleshooting but unfortunately I cannot
recreate this behavior. Most users are outlook 2007 sp1, a couple are
outlook 2003. Exchange environment is exchange 2003 sp2. No one is
using cache mode. All users involved also have Treos (GoodLink) or
Smartphones (Windows Mobile), but do not process any meeting requests
on these devices. If I make any progress on this, I'll let you know.

Thanks

Thank you for this. I am using Outlook 2003 and I am a delegate for one of
the people in the meeting but the actual change of time was done in my own
calendar, not his.

I see today that the meeting is still stuck on the original time while my
boss' calendars are all correct. It's their calendars that matter but it
should still show up correct in mine. I've been doing these meetings for
years and this is the FIRST time I've had this problem!!!!

Thanks again for your help and if you do find the answer, I'd love an email
at (e-mail address removed).

Thanks!

I have the same problem and can't find the answer for Outlook 2003 (we
are using Exchange 2007 btw)
I did find a fix for Outlook 2007:
"You send a recurring meeting request to attendees. Then, you update
the meeting time for the recurring meeting and then send the update.
When you reopen the recurring meeting, the meeting time reverts to the
original meeting time." comes from article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937494

Hope MS also provides a fix for Outlook 2007
