I use outlook at work and also have it configured on my home machine.
When i connected through my home machine to work, Outlook emptied out
my Inbox on the exchange server and dumped all the emails in my inbox
on my home computer. Need to move these emails back (100's of emails).
any ideas?

With Outlook closed, make a copy of the PST file. Take it to work and ask
the Exchange admin to import it into your Exchange mailbox.

Oh yeah, forgot about the .pst, maybe i will zip it and mail it back
to my corporate account via a web based email product and load it
locally on my machine and open the pst and drag and copy - thanks a
million!

As you have an Exchange connection you can simply use drag & drop as well.
Only make sure you change your default delivery location to the Exchange
server before doing so, or they'll taken out again.
