Can an XP upgrade (98 to XP pro) be reused on another PC if the original PC it was installed on is no longer functional or in service? Are there any registration issues? If you coulod, please send a link to the MS documentation

Thanks
Mark

Yes, you can install a retail version of XP on another computer if it is no
longer in use on the original computer. If it has been more than 120 days
since it was first installed it will install normally on the second
computer. If less you will have to make a phone activation, follow the
screen prompts.
