Returning from standby mode

Hello, I have a problem when the computer returns from
standby mode. THe computer does not response when I want
to return from standby mode. The monitor is still off. I
tried to press down the power key to return, but it did
not response. My computer is a labtop with Toshiba's
manufacturer. The model is Satellite 1100 and it is
windown xp home edition.
 
Hi,

Check with Toshiba for any device driver updates for your laptop. Generally,
standby issues like this are caused by non-supporting drivers.
