Retrieving from Archive

Hi, I need to retrieve something from Outlook (2000) archive but am not quite
sure how to go about it. I know it is a .pst file, and the only way I could
find that was to run a search on .pst files. That revealed a few, including
one for Outlook and one for Archive (not sure what the difference is - ?).
Anyway, I tried to open the Archive one and got a message about which
application I wanted to use, plus a warning that I could corrupt the file.
Needless to say, I did nothing, and decided to ask the experts! There must
be a better way?? Thanks in advance. Jazz
 
In OUtlook, choose File | Open | Personal Folders File. You'll see the
archive folders in the Folder List.
