retrieving deleted outlook express email

I opened an outlook express account and forwarded all my
hotmail there, then erased all the mail in my hotmail
account, thinking it would remain in outlook express. It
was gone from outlook express, is there any way I can
retrieve it, I went through an online search and found
that I had files that were in some sort of format, that
couldn't be read, and they looked like they might be all
the hotmail files I had ever deleted

If and only if no compacting has been done, either of these apps *may* be
able to extract *some* messages from your Hotmail [name].dbx files:
