retrieving compacted messages

Hi!

I an trying to retrieve several important e-mail messages which were
recently compacted by windows mail. Would anyone know how to recover these?

Compacting does not remove messages.
If you deleted them from Deleted Items they are gone.

Compacting the database isn't supposed to delete any messages, only
remove information about messages you have already deleted. To
check if these messages are only hidden, click on the folder to check,
then View, then Current View, then Show All Messages.
