retrieving a template

Hi,

I created a new template in Powerpoint 2003 and I saved it in the template
directory of Powerpoint (C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Templates\Presentation Designs). When I try to retrieve it with
Files, New, retrieve templates on my computer, I can see all the default
templates but not the one I created. Is there any way around this?

Did you save it as a Design Template (.pot)? Also, try closing out or
PowerPoint and re-launching...
