My problem is that windows hibernation works well but when I restart the
computer it comes back and all is well. But if I do not move the mouse or
run a program, or let the computer stay unattended it will after five
minutes or so re-enter hibernation. Is this a standard windows feature. I am
getting my computer to automatically boot on at a certain time like an alarm
clock. I adjust the power saving menus in the system BIOS. it boots a the
appropriate time and returns from hibernation. I have set an alarm program
to go off a little later on. The problem is it reenters hibernation while
I'm still asleep. I can get the computer to start from a complete shut down
and bypass logon screen but I prefer hibernation. Its more efficient. Can
anyone please help.
