Retain Task Bar Settings?

I elect to remove the Goggle desktop and Language Bar items that my new
Lenovo laptop sets up automatically on my Task Bar, but they always come
back at the next boot. Is there a way to make my selection permanent?

Remove from Add/Remove Programs and/or Windows Components.
