Resuming Windows

When starting up my PC or from long periods of hibernation a black screen
appears
which says " Resuming Windows" along with a white line that counts up, the
PC then goes through its normal set up procedures and behaves normaly.
This resuming windows screen is driving me nuts, I know there is a simple
reg tweak that stops this, I used it once but have forgotten it.
Many thanks

Thanks Jaymon, I couldn't find it in Kellys but I'm not sure what I am
looking for anyway.

After my PC Windows XP goes into Hibernatin, how can I set things so that I
do not have to puh the buttonon the PC to bring it back up. I have seen
other PC's that all one has do is shake the mouse and the computer comes back
(e-mail address removed) Thank you.

*** this is a sure fix , dont try anything else**

any issue with the system which comes after or during the message resuming windows can be fixed by this >>

as soon as u see the message resuming windows quickly press ctrl+alt+del key together.you will get 2 option on the dos screen.select the second option :: Delete restoration data and continue ...and hit enter on that... iss resolved:).. n u r good to go.. try shutting down your system normally instead of putting it in to sleep or hibernate
