Resume From Standby

Two days ago when I tried to resume from standby it took about 20
seconds after I hit a key for it to start up. Yesterday it took close
to 30 and today it took almost a full minute to kick in. What could be
causing the system to take so long to resume from standby? I've
installed no new hardware or software, scanned the system with 4
different spyware programs and 2 different virus programs all came back
clean. I'm worried that here soon it just won't resume at all but I
don't want to start shutting it down all the time either. Does this
sound familiar to anyone?
