Results/risks of using two servers with different server extension

My dev site is using 4.0.2.7802 and my prd site is using 5.0.2.4803. Should I
update one or rollback the other? ANyone have this at somepoint, what did you
experience? Any input would be great as my search feature on prd is not
producing the correct/enough results. Thanks.

Doesn't really matter...however unless you have a copy of the updated FP2002 extensions, they are no
longer available for downloading.

Your dev site is using the FP 2000 SE
- so you are limited to those features in Dev supported by the FP 2000 SE
Your prd site is using the FP 2002 SE

If you don't need and of the FP 2002 SE features then you don't need to upgrade
