Restrict text in a table cell

Hi,

There is a function within a PP table to restrict the amount of text shown
in a cell of a table, thus not altering the shape of the table when text is
entered beyond the cell size.

I've seen it somewhere, but can't seem to find it now, any ideas?

Thanks

Kimkom,
I think you are referring to Microsoft Word, where you can limit the height
of a row to an exact height, excess text is not shown but still available.
As far as I know there is no similar function in PPT.

Luc,

Thank you, I just realized that myself. It is indeed a feature of Word, not
Powerpoint.

So then, is there any way to 'lock' the table formatting (possibly through
VBA?). The problem is that as soon as the user hits the RETURN key the cell
resizes to accomodate the new line. Not good.

Thanks
Mike
