Restrict PST size with GP also impacts on OST size

Hi

I have recently tried to implement a GP to restrict the size of laptop users
PST file size which worked fine, the problem is that after I implemented this
GP laptop users could not get into their outlook as it was saying that the
OST had reached its maximum allowed size.

Is there any way to restrict the size of PST's without it restricting the
OST as well

No. The same policy settings apply to both kinds of files.
