Hello,

I know it's got to be possible, somehow, but is there someone out there that
can provide a link that can tell me how to restrict a certain user profile/s
from using a DVD drive? The mom, of course, wants to be admin, and wants
her kids to have limited access, including use of the DVD drive.

Thanks, in advance,

smackedass

Haven't tried it myself, but:
In gpedit.msc, Computer Configuration, Windows Settings, Security
Settings, Local Policies, Security Options, Dbl-click

Devices: Restrict CD-ROM access to locally logged-on user only, set to
enabled.

Thank you and God bless you. Something that I'd seen many times but never
had to use.
