restoring XPs zip view

J

Jeff

I am running Windows XP. Somewhere along the way I installed WinZip which
now is the default for zipped files. However I believe XP can unzip zipped
files without Winzip. How do I restore that capability without uninstalling
the trial version of Winzip?

I looked at folder Options/File Types and went to Zip extension which is
presently set open with Winzip. What do I change it to?

Thanks.

How do I restore that capability without uninstalling the trial version
Click Start, Run and type:

regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll

Press Enter. And type this:

regsvr32 zipfldr.dll
