Restore

Something happened to my computer. Whether I use normal boot, safe boot, or
previous good config, it keeps on rebooting and as soon as I get a glimpse
of the desktop it brings me back to the choices, safe mode, ....

Is there a way to restore the computer to an earlier time without getting
into windows (like a dos command I could run from the repair mode)?
Any other suggestions?

Boot up to your Windows XP CD and run the Repair function of that install.

Hi Eric,

Boot to Safe Mode Command Prompt, then type the following command then
press ENTER.

%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

If this doesn't work, then I would suggest a repair install.
