Restore System State

Hi



I am not sure whether this is the correct forum for this post, if not please
point me in the right direction.



I am writing a backup and restore program. I have found documentation for
the backup and restore of the Registry, Active Directory, Certificates etc,
all this works well. The problem is I cannot find documentation for
restoring the other system state objects that are protected by the Windows
Protection System (e.g. old dll's & exe's from SYSTEM32). I have a work
around (which works) but this 'looks and feels' rather clumsy.



Can anybody point me to relevant documentation or other resource please.
