Restore problem

Every efort to restore to an earlier date has failed,
i.e., insists restoring to today's date. McAfee says I
have suspious scripting in restore scripting. Any
suggestions?

McAfee will always bring up the suspicious script warning when you try to do a system restore...system restore is a script and McAfee detects any script activity, basically to warn you that you may be opening a potentially harmful script, but rest assured, system restore isn't a harmful script.
