restore power schemes

I have deleted all Power Schemes under the Power Options facility in Control
Panel. I need to know how to get them back--or any one of the power schemes.
Right now all options and dialogs are greyed out--I cannot even enter text
in the Power Schemes dialog box. Thanks in advance!

Go to this web site:

Download and run the registry fix from line 204, right hand
side, Restore Power Schemes/Configuration.

Good luck

Hi,

If this just occurred, and there were no new applications installed
between the time the last restore point was created, and when the Power
Options were deleted System Restore would be a good option.

Nepatsfan, you are a genius--that fix worked slick, fast and perfectly...I am
in your debt. That site you
Thanks
P.S. I did not use the "restore" options suggested by another because it
seemed like a more clumsy fix--one even I had already thought of.

Genius, no. Knowing the right place to look for a solution,
yes. Besides, Kelly did all the heavy lifting on that one.

Kelly's web site has a cure for a number of problems you may
encounter. You might want to consider adding it to your
favorites. She also maintains an extensive catalog of solutions
