Restore Points

Is It Possible to backup restore points onto a CD or DVD and use them to boot
a system or to use after a fresh system format

note: i have an OEM version of XP Home that came preinstalled on my laptop
 
Hi Rob,

No, it's not. If you want to backup the system for later import to a newly
installed or repaired installation, use the Files and Settings Transfer
Wizard. System Restore points are continually created and purged.
