restore function

[hate worms]

I've got a worm and want to run the tool to fix it.
Msoft says I should disable my "system restore option" to
run the tool. I can't seem to find where to do that.
Help?

ON W XP go to the MY COMPUTER icon and right click, select properties, then
the System Restor tab. Unselect the System Restore button.

Make sure you turn it back on after you're done.
