Open the folder where your templates are stored (by default,
%appdata%\Microsoft\Templates) and rename Normal.dot to some other name. Then
start Word, and it will build a new copy from the factory defaults. Later, if
you had any customizations stored in the old Normal.dot, you can copy them to
the new one by using the Organizer.
