Restore DLL

Hi,

I need to restore a DLL "Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Shared
DLLs refer to a missing file, C\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLL
Shared"

I tried to do a System Restore, but it keeps failing.

Hi Rick,

I have no idea. The only thing that comes up in my Norton System Works 2003
scan is what I wrote, and Symantec no longer covers problems for 2003.

Is there a way to find out which dll file is missing? Would it be possible
to do a Windows repair with the XP CD? If so how? I already tried doing
that hopeing that this would reinstall the missing dll, but nothing happened.

Also my System Restore no longer works at all.

I just reformatted my hard drive about 2 weeks ago, and I really don't want
to spend the time again to do it again. I stupidly deleted a game reference
in my Program Files not realizing it shared ant dll files.

I seem to be having a problem finding this post even though I bookmarked
this page in my favorites. If possible could you send an email.

Hi,

Run sfc /scannow

It should detect and replace any missing or damaged dll files.
