Upgrading to Windows XP Professional is a one-way ticket with
no uninstall option. The only way to return to Windows XP Home
Edition is to reformat the drive and install XP Home "clean".
Since you do not have a Windows XP Home Restore CD, I would
suggest purchasing a new license for your Windows XP Pro
installation, change the Product Key to the new one, and activate it.

| I purchased a computer with Windows XP Home on it thru a Rent-To-Own place. Once it was paid for they
promised a Restore Disc. Well, the Restore disc only has boot files on them. my daughter purchased a XP Pro
system that said it was for 2 users. Well, we installed that and found out that was for 2 users from her
computer, not 2 computers.
