restore deleted email

I accidently deleted a group of email messages that I need to save. I am a
new users of Windows Vista (non commercial). When I go to outlook help it
says that outlook 2007 provides a way to recover 'permanently' deleted items.
It says there is a 'recover deleted items' icon however I don't see it.

If you don't use an Exchange account you won't have that option. Instead,
recover them from your most recent backup. No backup? See this:
