Do all computers come with a Restore CD - ROM. I do not think mine did. I have a blue operating system CD for Windows XP Home Edition, an applications CD - ROM, and a Driver's CD - ROM. Can I purchase a Restore CD - ROM? Thank you for your help.

Computer manufacturers offer various methods of restoring the
Windows XP operating system. Some install a "hidden partition"
on your hard drive that contains the reinstallation files, others
provide a "Restore or Reinstallation CD". Read your User's Guide
that came with your computer and learn what method is employed
in the event you need to restore your Windows XP operating system.
Only the computer manufacturer can supply a Restore CD.

Sounds like you have Dell computer as their system disks are blue.
Dell does not make a "total Restore Disk" as such.
You have to use the XP disk (boot from this disk) to reformat your drive and
re-install XP.
Then you use the Drivers Disk to setup up the hardware
Then you use the Applications Disk to re-install the software they gave you
with the PC.
All of these instructions are in your users manual from Dell
If you don't have a Dell check your manual or the vendor support site.
