Restoration

I have Windows XP Home Edition, hard drives are Fat 32. I defraged the hard drives and after that I needed to restore my system to a point previous to the defrag but my computer could not be restored. I can restore to any point after the defrag but I cannot restore to any point previous to the defrag.
 
Hi Barry,

Then you are out-of-luck as far as System Restore is concerned. Once gone or
corrupted, restore points cannot be recovered.

Why are you trying to restore to a point prior to the defrag operation?
