Restmode

If there isn't any need to shout down the computer completely I often shout
down in restmode. Meaning that windows is saved as it was when I turned it
off.
I have experienced a lot of comp freezing, I don't know if it's becouse of
this. But maybe the ram memory doesn't empty itself when shuting down the
comp that way..

"Rest mode"? You mean either Hibernate or Standby, right?
Go to: Start>Help and Support for an explanation of these features. If you
want to safe power, go here: rightclick open area of screen>Properties>
Screensaver tab>Power button>change your settings there.

I shut down every night and boot up every morning unless i am recording a tv
program overnight. A complete shutdown and restart is good for the system.
Hibernate is rediculious, might as well shut down.
stand by is ok if your computer is idle for more than 15 minutes such as
when you go out.
