Restarts

My computer continuiously restarts over and over again.
When I push the restart button, I get a message that
apologizes for the inconvenience but a newly instaled
device has caused Windows to close. The system further
advised me to select a choice in DOS to restart at the
configuration before this addition, but the up and down
arrows will not alow me to get to this option and then the
computer restarts over and over again.

Please help!
