I have noticed since the beginning of november, after a windows update.
(don't know if related) that if I restart my computer it will restart. if i
wait an hour it will restart. my cpu temp. is usually around 43*c and system
temp. is usually around 38*c. where should I be looking?? I have a MSI m/board

Not sure what your problem is here...
You say if you "restart your computer it will restart." Isn't that
what's supposed to happen??
You also say, "if i wait an hour it will restart." Again, no clue what
point you're trying to make.
Every proc runs different than the next. Historically, AMD procs run
hotter than Intel. But those temps don't seem extreme to me. Based on
those temp readings, I don't think your PC is overheating.
Try restructuring your sentences and maybe we can answer your question.

I go to restart my computer after a update, it will NOT restart right away. I
have to wait for about an hour to get my computer to restart.
