Restart Problem after Upgrading to Adobe Reader 8.1

After I have upgraded to Adobe 8.1 my computer keeps giving me th emessage
"The computer must be restarted before updating can continue. Would you like
to restart now?" I have restarted a lot of time but the message keeps on
appearing..any idea whats wrong?

The installation of Adobe Reader 8.1 may be corrupted or incomplete; start
from scratch or if necessary download the standalone installer from
www.adobe.com .
