I am looking for an Outlook Add-In that would allow me to build
library of response text that could be quickly added to a reply emai
either individually or concatenated into one response.

Ideally the ad-in would allow attachments to be associated with tex
entries.

Requirement is for following up on sales inquiries where respons
content is similar - but varies based on inquiry email or phone call.

Does anyone know of suitable add-in ?

Thanks in Advanc

Have you tried http://www.slipstick.com? Also, have you posted in an
Outlook programming group to see if someone has written an add-in or can
help you code one for yourself?

I use the Autotext Feature. If you are using Word as your email editor then you can use Autotext. Type the text you want to use and then highlight it. Select Edit/Autotext/New Give it a name

From now on anytine you want to use that same text in an email you can go to Edit/Autotext and then select the name you gave to that text and it will be inserted. I do not think there is any limit to how many AutoText entries you can create

But, does using Auto-text allow for the inclusion of the add-in the OP
wanted? I don't think it does.

Since posting this query I have found:

http://cannedresponses.4team.biz

and also this at slipstick.com (thanks for the link)

http://www.emailtemplates.com/et/

Sorry, auto correct does not provide the time saving functionality I a
looking for.

It is surprising that there are not more choices of suitable apps in a
area which would greatly increase productivity.

Imagine an add-in that had at least:

- templates that allowed the use of variable like name and emai
address so you could add auto salutations and opt out messages etc.

- that associated attachments with templates - so you could respond t
an email query in few clicks.
