How do I increase the amount of resourses Ie memory for a programme
quickbooks will open everything except the file in registy when it says not
enough resourse to open files

Try closing some of the programs you have running in the background (NOT
your antivirus or anti-spyware scanners).

Windows XP needs at least 512MB of RAM for acceptable performance, and more
is better.

BTW, the Windows registry doesn't contain files.
