Resourse DLL

When I am trying to do cut and paste in Windows 2000 I am
getting the following error message:


Failed to load resourse DLL.

If I am trying to cut and paste something from the mapped
drive my computer gets locked up after I click OK on the
message.

Does anybody know how to fix it?

Hi,

This kind of error gives the dll name. Could please provide to us the name
of the dll ?

Does it appear at each cut and paste or randomly or when you copy and paste
a specific file or object ?

Unfortunately there is no name to that DLL. It just says
DLL that is it. It happens on every cut and paste.

You can try to reproduce it when you boot your computer in safe mode.

If you do not reproduce it, it means that the issue comes from an
application launch during windows start up.

Then you will have to identify wich application is guilty.
To do this you can use the tool msconfig, start up tab (this tool is not in
windows 2000 but you can take it from a windows xp computer)
