I currently use Windows Me and quickly run out of
resources during normal usage. Is Windows Xp more
efficient in using up resources?

Hi Jerry,

Immeasurably, just make sure the system is sufficiently powered to run
WinXP. A system with minimum specs will walk, not run, and performance will
be minimal.

WinXP does not use the same resource scheme that the Win9x series did (WinME
is a 9x system), you will not have those sorts of issues (which in a 9x
system are usually resolved by trimming the startup load).
