Resources being double booked

We are using Outlook 2003 on our workstations with SBS 2003 on our server. We
took the basic appointment form in our public folders and modified it to
allow for booking of conference rooms and resources. For each room and
resource we created an account and set it up under scheduling to not allow
conflicting or duplicate scheduling. Recently however we are able to book the
same resources mulitiple times with out any errors or warnings. I have read a
couple of things about deleting the form cache and one other work around but
nothing is fixing this problem. Can anyone advise us how to prevent the the
resources from being booked more then once on the same day?? Please advise???

Hmmm, about 3 months ago I wrote software to extract callendar appointments
and display them on a screen for a football club. I'm not saying you're
wrong, but I've never seen any mechanics to differentiate venues when
creating appointments. The "Location" field is a textbox not a combo box
(i.e. option selection). The location is manually typed in. I found it quite
natural that time slots overlap or are double booked because parallel
appointments are scheduled to occur. When the user is creating the
appointment though, just above the "Details" area you will notice a warning
about the time the user has chosen the meeting to occur. It generally warns
the user that there are adjacent or overlapping appointments. I've never seen
a dialog box pop up though.

If you did have this feature working before then everything I have said is
irrelevant ). Good luck.
